Choral Conducting Scholar

Our Choral Conducting Scholar for 2022/23 is Lily Platts.  Lily is a second year music student at King’s College London and studies singing at the Royal Academy of Music under John Lattimore.  She sang with both Lincoln and Llandaff cathedral choirs and is currently singing with the choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields. In addition to her primary musical experiences as a singer, Lily has been studying Choral Conducting with the national organisation, Sing for Pleasure [our Musical Director is one of the organisation’s tutors] since the age of 16.  She is very excited to be appointed to the role of Conducting Scholar for MK Chorale and is looking forward to developing her skills working with and getting to know the choir over the coming year.
