Membership
We’re a friendly group firmly rooted in the choral tradition, comprising people of all ages and from all walks of life with a shared passion for excellent singing. New members are always welcome.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings 1930 – 2145 during term time in the centre of Milton Keynes at Christ the Cornerstone, MK9 2ES, opposite the main shopping centre. Our 2023/4 season rehearsals will begin on 5 September 2023.
There are also two special Tuesday evening Open Rehearsals each season. For our next season, these will be on 3 October 2023 and 6 February 2024 following our annual January Workshop. If you would like to join us, please call our membership secretary, Glenys Bloomfield on 07969 120793 who will be happy to answer any questions you may have and register your interest. You will be invited to come along on a Tuesday evening to try us out. Any new Tenors in particular and also Basses would be most welcome!
A reasonable ability to read and follow a score is assumed, as well as being able to sing in tune and blend with others.
Our standard subscription rate is £220 (£19 per month for a monthly subscription) for full members and £72 (£6 per month) for students in higher or further education. These are payable annually or in termly or monthly instalments.
NOTE: Please be reassured that we have Covid risk assessment measures in place. We also expect all members / prospective members to be double vaccinated and boosted unless medically exempt.
